Nathan builds the case against Pioneer Electric by going with Christopher to find the charred transformer. Before they get far, they’re run off the road by an unknown assailant. Nathan rushes to bring an unconscious Christopher to the infirmary. The accident sparks an honest, emotional conversation between Elizabeth and Nathan about their blended family. They’re closer than ever. Meanwhile, three’s company with Lucas, Edie, and Fernando as they wrangle a runaway Palomino, stirring up insecurities and jealousy within Lucas. Minnie decides to keep the jam business going. With the extra money, she and Joseph decide to buy out Bill’s stake and rename it Minnie’s Cafe. Christopher leaves unannounced. Without their star witness and hard evidence, Nathan and Bill’s case is in trouble.
