Season 2, Episode 2: The Curse of Shirley / Courage In the Big Stinkin' City

Curse of Shirley, Shirley returns to the Farmhouse in the guise of a beggar. Muriel and Courage each give her something, but the Farmer slams the door in her face. She puts a curse on him that can only be undone if he learns to give of himself. Courage in the Big Stinkin' City, Muriel wins a contest and is invited to play her sitar at Radio City Music Hall. The family comes to NYC and is immediately led astray by a crooked giant cockroach, who takes them hostage until Courage runs a dangerous, errand, for him. Courage must get the job done and save Muriel in time for her show.
