The Snow Calls

Mina has borne three daughters, and now she is pregnant once again. But living in a society in which a man is expected to have at least one son, Mina's husband is growing impatient. An ultimatum is issued: the fourth child must be a boy, or he will find a new wife. A heart-breaking and intimate portrait of the conflict between familial ties and societal pressures.
